Anger is a natural emotion and almost every one of us feels angry at some point of our life. It’s not necessarily inappropriate and unhealthy to feel angry at something that harms you physically or emotionally but sometimes it exceeds the level of proportion to its trigger. In such case, excessive anger can damage your social life, relationships, decision-making skills, productivity and quality of life in general. There are many techniques to recognize the anger triggers and handle them in more healthy and constructive manner. First thing to bear in mind is that the anger management does not mean suppressing it and avoiding the naturally associated feelings as it may result into more negative way. Here are some of the most useful tips to deal with controlling anger in positive way.


Pause for Few Seconds


Pausing for a while can really help in limiting the angry response. Whenever you confront anger, stop for a while, move away from the trigger point, take deep breaths and slowly count to ten.
