I find joy in each day

Life provides so many opportunities to feel cheerful. Being in high spirits throughout the day brings me feelings of contentment and calm. And when I feel joyful, I am usually in better health as well.

Experiencing joy each day has a wonderful effect on my psyche and my physical well-being. This is part of the reason I seek to cultivate happiness in my life.

From the time I rise in the morning until I retire for the night, I discover countless sources of joy. When I awake, sometimes just the shining sun makes me smile. In the evening, time spent with friends and loved ones fill my heart with delight.

I find it easy to discover joy in practically everything. Even the smallest occurrences provide me with happiness and a sense of well-being. When I hear music on the radio, I am joyful. Maybe I sing aloud when I am driving and that makes me happy, too.

Regardless of whether I am at work or at home, alone or with people, I pay attention to all the joys that life provides. Sometimes, a simple moment of solitude brings peace to my heart.

Today, I feel blessed to have so much happiness in my life. I intend to keep my eyes, mind, and heart open to all the joy that surrounds me each day.
