Hey beautiful souls,
It’s been a minute since I’ve shown up here on the blog. Life has been… whew, a journey. Since my last post, I’ve been growing—not just spiritually, but emotionally and mentally too. I’ve been adjusting to this ever-changing world and trying to make sense of it all. The state of this current administration? Chile, don’t even get me started. But in the midst of all the confusion, the one thing I’ve been learning to do—over and over again—is trust God.
Trusting God when everything around you feels unstable is not easy. I’ve had to unclench my jaw, release my shoulders, and remind myself daily: God is still God, even in this. Even in the layoffs. Even in the gas prices. Even when the news is heavy and hope feels distant.
I’ll be honest with y’all—I haven’t been as consistent on this blog as I wanted to be. But I’ve been showing up strong and steady on TikTok and Instagram, sharing encouragement, faith, and soft girl vibes under the name @yourgirl_Keysha (instagram) & your girl keysha (TikTok). So if you’ve missed my face or needed a quick pick-me-up, that’s where I’ve been pouring most of my energy lately.
To those of you who still check in here from time to time—thank you. Thank you for coming back, for reading, and for holding space for me. I see you. And I feel your presence, even through this screen.
Now let’s talk about it…
⸻
Trusting God in the Chaos
The world hasn’t stopped spinning. If anything, it feels like it’s moving faster and faster—social injustices, economic uncertainty, climate disasters, spiritual unrest. It’s enough to make anyone feel anxious or helpless. But I want to remind you of something:
God is not shaken by what shakes us.
Psalm 46:1-2 says,
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth gives way…”
That’s not just a verse to quote—it’s a truth to live. God is our anchor when everything else feels like a storm. When systems fail us, when people disappoint us, when the future looks cloudy, we can still rest in the truth that God is sovereign.
I know it sounds cliché, but trusting God truly is a radical act of resistance in today’s world. While others panic, we pray. While others give up, we press on. While others try to control everything, we surrender.
And hear me clearly—trusting God doesn’t mean pretending everything is okay. It means believing He’s working even when it’s not.

What Trust Looks Like Right Now
For me, trust looks like:
• Getting up every morning and speaking life over my situation
• Choosing peace when I could choose panic
• Creating content that uplifts, even when I feel tired
• Crying out to God and letting Him hold what I can’t fix
• Reminding myself that I don’t have to have all the answers to walk in faith
This isn’t blind faith. It’s bold faith. Gritty faith. The kind that whispers, “God, I don’t understand this, but I still trust You.”
⸻
A Gentle Nudge for You, Sis
If your world still feels like it’s falling apart, I want you to take a deep breath. Right now. Inhale peace. Exhale pressure.
You’re not alone. God sees it. He sees you. And even if you don’t know the next step, He’s already cleared the path.
Don’t let the chaos convince you that He’s not working. Sometimes He does His greatest miracles in the midst of our mess.
⸻
Until Next Time…
My prayer is to be more consistent in this little corner of the internet—because whew, we need spaces like this. Safe, sacred, honest. But again, if you want regular encouragement, come find me on TikTok @your girl keysha and Instagram @yourgirl_Keysha. I’m there with all the love, truth, and good vibes you need to keep going.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading. And thank you for trusting God right alongside me.
Keep shining,
Your Girl Keysha
