When Faith Feels Far Away
Sis, let’s be honest — some days faith feels easy. The sun is shining, the bills are paid, your hair is laid, and you can clearly see God’s hand moving in your life.
But then there are those other days… when your heart is heavy, your prayers feel unanswered, and your emotions are all over the place. You love God — but you’re tired. You trust Him — but you’re frustrated.
And that’s okay. Faith doesn’t mean you don’t feel — it means you don’t stay there.
Because the truth is, God’s strength doesn’t show up when we have it all together. It shows up when we admit, “Lord, I don’t feel strong right now… but I still trust You.”
Faith Isn’t a Feeling — It’s a Choice
Your emotions are valid, sis. But they don’t always tell the full truth. Feelings change — God doesn’t.
You might feel forgotten, but He says, “I will never leave you.”
You might feel unworthy, but He calls you chosen.
You might feel like giving up, but His Spirit whispers, “Keep going.”
Faith is the decision to stand on what God said — even when your emotions are screaming the opposite.
It’s not pretending you’re okay; it’s trusting that you will be.
“We walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 ✨
Faith over feelings means learning to lean on the Word when the world around you feels shaky.
Let Go of Control — Let God Lead
When we’re hurting, we try to control the outcome.
We replay what went wrong. We plan every backup plan. We beg God for clarity but don’t leave room for His mystery.
But healing happens when you loosen your grip.
When you say, “God, I don’t know what’s next — but I know You do.”
That’s the kind of trust that moves mountains, sis. The kind that quiets anxiety and reminds your heart that even when it’s not making sense, it’s still making purpose.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
You Are Stronger Than You Feel
You may not feel strong right now, but strength isn’t about smiling through pain — it’s about showing up in it.
Every tear you’ve cried, every prayer you’ve whispered, every step you’ve taken through heartbreak and uncertainty… it all counts.
God sees it.
And He’s turning it into something beautiful — even if it’s still unfolding.
So take a deep breath, sis. You don’t have to hold it all together.
You just have to hold on to Him.
