“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord… They will be like a tree planted by the water… It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

💕 Devotional Thought

Sis, sometimes the season you’re in feels dry, quiet, or overlooked.

You may feel like God planted you in a place that’s too small, too slow, or too hidden.

But hear me:

Where you are is holy ground because God chose it.

He planted you where your roots could grow,

where your character could deepen,

where your faith could strengthen,

and where your soul could stretch in ways visibility could never produce.

We often want the blooming season — the applause, the breakthrough, the new chapter.

But God grows us in the hidden places first.

The roots always grow before the flowers appear.

And roots don’t grow in the spotlight —

they grow in the soil.

In the dark.

Unseen.

Quietly.

Faithfully.

You may feel unseen, but God is watching.

You may feel small, but God is strengthening.

You may feel “behind,” but God is aligning.

Your growth is happening, even if it’s not visible yet.

Blooming is not a moment — it’s the result of many unseen moments of surrender, faith, and obedience.

Trust the season you’re in.

Trust the ground beneath you.

Trust the God who planted you.

Your bloom is coming — and when it unfolds, it will be breathtaking.

and remind me daily that Your timing is perfect and Your purpose is sure.
