Single During the Holidays? Sis, You’re Not Missing a Thing God Has for You

You are not behind

Let’s Be Real for a Minute…

Another year of no matching pajamas.

No boo to make hot cocoa for.

No Amazon delivery marked “Your husband has arrived.”

Listen—I really thought this year would be different.

But then again… I didn’t.

Because I keep my behind in the house unless I’m going to work, church, or the store.

And yet… I still had a lil’ hope that maybe, just maybe, God would slide me a man via 2-day shipping. I mean, I do have Prime. 😩📦

But here we are. And sis? Let me tell you something bold, beautiful, and true:

You are not behind.

You are not forgotten.

You are not missing anything God has already set aside for you.

December 2022

I made this post in 2022 of December and I will be posting it next week. I was just being funny since everybody was posting their holiday pics. 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

🌟 The Pressure to Be “Boo’d Up” Is Loud Right Now

It’s been a minute 😂

Social media got us out here thinking if we’re not in matching plaid pajamas by December 1st, we’re somehow failing at life. But baby, that’s a lie from the pit of Instagram and TikTok.

Your value isn’t tied to your relationship status.

You are whole, worthy, and radiant—whether you’re cuddled up with a man or curled up with your heated blanket and a rom-com.

🫶🏽 Ways to Nurture Yourself and Your Joy This Season

Let’s flip the script. This holiday season, instead of focusing on what you don’t have, let’s romanticize the beauty of what you do have—YOU.

Here’s how to date yourself and stay grounded:

1. Take Yourself Out

Book a solo date. Go to that holiday market. Sip that latte in peace. Dress cute and take selfies like your future husband is watching from heaven with popcorn.

2. Create a Cozy Soft-Life Routine

Candles. Cozy socks. Worship music. Face mask. A good journal. This is your era of being well-loved—by you and God.

3. Host a Sister Circle

Don’t isolate. Invite a few girlfriends over for cocoa, prayer, or a movie night. Your soul needs connection, not just romance.

4. Make Gratitude a Practice

Write down 3 things you’re thankful for every morning. Gratitude softens the ache and reminds your spirit that God is moving.

5. Talk to God Like a Friend

Because He’s not judging you for wanting love. He gets it. And He’s preparing the right one for you in divine timing—not Amazon Prime timing.

📿 A Reminder for Your Soul

You are the blessing.

Your growth this year? That was beautiful.

Your healing? Sacred.

Your peace? Worth protecting.

Your life? Already filled with love—from God, from community, and from within.

💖 A Final Word of Encouragement

Sis, don’t let this season trick you into thinking your story is lacking. Just because the chapter doesn’t look like what you prayed for yet, doesn’t mean God isn’t writing something beautiful behind the scenes.

You’re not late.

You’re not missing out.

And you’re not alone.

You’re evolving.

You’re glowing.

You’re blooming at your own divine pace.

So light that candle, put on your cozy playlist, and toast to the soft, sacred season you’re in. Your life is still full of joy, purpose, and love—even before the “matching pajamas” era arrives.

Keep your heart open, your faith strong, and your standards high.

God’s timing is still perfect—and so are you.

You’re not just waiting… you’re becoming. And that’s worth celebrating.
