📖 Scripture — John 13:7 (NIV)
“You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”
🌿 Devotional Reflection
Sis… I know you didn’t expect to lose them.
The friend you poured into,
the relationship you prayed for,
the community you trusted,
the people you thought were permanent.
Losing them feels like grief.
But heaven calls it protection.
Sometimes God removes people not because they’re bad —
but because their presence would block your growth, drain your spirit,
or delay your destiny.
God sees what you can’t see yet.
He hears conversations you weren’t in.
He sees motives you missed.
He knows the future version of you that they could not handle.
And so in His mercy, not His anger,
He shifts your circle.
He closes the door.
He lets the connection fade.
He allows the distance.
He gives you peace that doesn’t match the loss.
Not to punish you, daughter —
but to preserve you.
This season is not about who left.
It’s about who God is making room for.
🌸 Reflection Questions
Ask yourself gently:
What loss am I still trying to understand? How might God be protecting me through this separation? What kind of relationships do I desire moving forward?
🌼 Affirmation
“Every removal is divine protection.
God is clearing my path, healing my heart,
and making room for aligned connections.”
🤎 Prayer
God, help me trust Your hand even when I don’t understand Your removals.
Heal the places that feel abandoned,
fill the spaces that feel empty,
and guide me toward relationships that honor my growth.
Where You lead, I will follow —
even when the path requires letting go.
Amen. 🤎
