Devotional — Breath in the Dry Places

📖 Scripture

“Then he said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones… I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.’” — Ezekiel 37:4–5

🌸 Reflection

Sis…

some parts of your life feel dry.

Not loud.

Not chaotic.

Just… empty.

The hope you once had?

Faded.

The love you once believed in?

Wounded.

The dreams you once carried?

Put on hold.

And now it feels like nothing is moving.

But God does His best work

in dry places.

In places where it looks like nothing can grow.

Where it feels like nothing can come back.

Where everything seems still and silent.

That’s where He breathes.

You don’t have to force life back into what feels lost.

You don’t have to figure it all out.

God knows how to revive what you couldn’t save.

He knows how to restore what you thought was over.

He knows how to renew what feels empty.

What feels dead to you

is not dead to Him.

🌼 Affirmation

God is breathing life into every dry place in my life.

What felt lost is being restored.

I am entering a season of renewal.

🤎 Prayer

God, breathe into the places in my life that feel empty and still.

Restore my hope, renew my faith, and revive the parts of me that feel tired and discouraged.

Help me trust that nothing is too far gone for You to bring back to life.

Amen.

Sis…

this isn’t the end.

It’s the moment

before God breathes life back in. 🤎✨
