💗 Happy 11/11: To Every Single Woman Choosing Joy, Peace & Self-Love Today

🤍

Today as I was scrolling Instagram — my usual ritual on a cozy morning — I stumbled across a post from Spiritual World that stopped me in my tracks. It read:

“It’s 11.11 and the singles are celebrating! Happy International Singles Day to everyone loving themselves and living drama-free.”

Now did you know about this?

Now listen…

I had NO idea International Singles Day was even a thing — but say less!

I love a good reason to celebrate, and if that celebration includes ordering DoorDash and enjoying a date with myself? Sign me up. 💅🏾

And since today is 11/11/25 — a powerful, symbolic date about alignment, intention, and new beginnings — I wanted to dedicate this space to all my single sisters…

This one’s for you.

The dreamers.

The healers.

The lovers of peace.

The ones who refuse to settle.

Yes sis, I want to get married one day too.

I desire partnership, softness, and a love story that feels like prayer answered.

But here’s the thing…

Being single DOES NOT mean life is on pause.

It does not mean you’re lacking anything or “late” on your timeline.

It does not mean something is wrong with you.

What it means is:

God is still writing.

And your story is not done.

Being Single Is Not a Sentence — It’s a Sacred Season

There is something beautiful, powerful, and deeply sacred about being single.

This is your season to:

✨ rebuild

✨ explore

✨ rest

✨ grow

✨ reconnect with yourself

✨ deepen your faith

✨ sharpen your purpose

✨ heal old wounds

✨ and prepare for the love you desire

You’re not waiting on love —

you’re growing into the version of yourself that can RECEIVE it, hold it, and maintain it with peace.

📖 Psalm 46:10 — “Be still and know that I am God.”

Still doesn’t mean stagnant.

Still means secure.

💛 How Singles Can Enjoy Life — Right Now

Sis, don’t let the world trick you into thinking you need a partner to live fully.

Here are some ways to thrive, not just survive, in your single era:

1. Solo Dates With No Shame

Take yourself out:

brunch, a movie, a museum, a bookstore, a hotel staycation a nature walk, a spa day

Do it with intention.

Get dressed up.

Smell good.

Love on YOU.

Because a relationship shouldn’t be the only reason you leave the house.

2. Build Community & Meaningful Friendships

Let’s be real — friendships are soul food.

When nurtured properly, they give:

laughter, companionship, accountability, support, fun, memories, honest conversations

Join:

a church group, a book club, a fitness class, a women’s ministry, local meetups, volunteer programs

God uses friendships to strengthen, heal, and uplift us.

3. Work on YOU — Inside & Out

This is your glow-up era:

mentally, spiritually, emotionally, financially physically

Your self-worth is elevating.

Your standards are rising.

Your peace is becoming priceless.

Use this time to:

✔ heal old patterns

✔ strengthen your relationship with God

✔ work toward goals

✔ build skills

✔ prioritize wellness

✔ become who your future self will thank you for

 4. Create Joy Instead of Waiting for It

Joy isn’t found — it’s created.

You can design a life that feels good.

✨ Candlelit evenings

✨ Journaling sessions

✨ Gratitude walks

✨ Worship playlists

✨ Self-care nights

✨ Vision boards

✨ Travel adventures

✨ Random hobbies

✨ Learning new things

Your joy doesn’t have to wait for a title or a ring.

You are loved!

Let’s Talk About Love, Though…

Wanting love is natural.

Desiring partnership is holy.

But sis…

Don’t stop living until love arrives.

God doesn’t want you half-alive until someone chooses you.

He wants you whole —

steady, radiant, healed, and full.

The right partner will meet you there.

Not in desperation —

but in fullness.

Not in loneliness —

but in clarity.

Not in lack —

but in overflow.

💌 Final Word: Celebrate Being Single — Not Because You’re Alone, But Because You’re Becoming

Happy International Singles Day, sis.

You’re not overlooked — you’re protected.

You’re not rejected — you’re redirected.

You’re not waiting — you’re glowing.

And when the time is right…

the love God has for you will meet you in peace, not chaos.

👉🏽 Love will knock.

👉🏽 You’ll open.

👉🏽 And it’ll feel like home.

Until then, dance in your freedom.

Choose yourself daily.

And don’t forget to order that DoorDash meal — because you deserve it.
