Sis…

Have you ever noticed how much energy we spend trying to be chosen?

Chosen by a partner.

Chosen by a friend group.

Chosen for the opportunity.

Chosen by people who may not even recognize our value.

Sometimes we chase acceptance because we’re secretly hoping it will heal something inside of us.

We think:

“If they choose me, I’ll finally feel worthy.”

But worthiness doesn’t come from people’s approval.

It comes from God’s truth.

Before anyone accepted you or rejected you, God already knew you.

Before anyone celebrated you or overlooked you, God already loved you.

Before you accomplished anything, God already called you valuable.

Sis, you are not waiting to be chosen.

You are learning to believe that you already are.

The more you embrace God’s love, the less dependent you become on validation from others.

You stop performing.

You stop proving.

You stop chasing.

And you begin resting in who God says you are.

🌸 Affirmation

I am chosen, loved, and valued by God. My worth is not determined by other people’s approval.

🤎 Prayer

God, heal every place in me that seeks validation from people instead of security in You. Help me release the need to be chosen by everyone and remind me that my identity is found in Your love. Teach me to walk confidently in who You created me to be and trust that I am already enough. Amen.
