SOULFUL SUNDAY DEVOTIONAL

GOD, SHOW ME MY NEXT STEP

📖 SCRIPTURE

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
— Psalm 119:105

🌿 REFLECTION

Sis…

Sometimes the hardest part of faith is not knowing what comes next.

We want certainty.

We want confirmation.

We want a guarantee.

But God often asks us to walk with Him one step at a time.

That can feel frustrating when your mind wants answers.

But maybe God is teaching you dependence.

Maybe He doesn’t want you trusting the plan more than you trust Him.

Today, instead of asking God to reveal everything, ask Him for enough wisdom for today.

Enough courage for today.

Enough peace for today.

Enough faith for today.

You do not need tomorrow’s answers to obey today’s instruction.

And when the next step becomes clear, take it.

Even if it feels small.

Even if you’re nervous.

Even if you don’t know what happens after.

God is already there.

✨ AFFIRMATION

I do not need the whole plan to move forward. I trust God to guide me one step at a time. I have enough grace, wisdom, and courage for the step in front of me.

🤎 PRAYER

Father,

Thank You for reminding me that I do not have to have everything figured out.

Quiet the part of me that feels pressured to know every answer.

Give me wisdom for the decisions in front of me and courage to move when You give direction.

Help me recognize when fear is disguising itself as delay.

Teach me to trust You more than I trust my own need for certainty.

If I take a wrong turn, redirect me.

If I move too quickly, slow me down.

If I become afraid, remind me that You are still with me.

Show me my next step, Lord.

And give me the faith to take it.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

🌸 JOURNAL PROMPT

What is one area of my life where I keep asking for the whole plan?

Then write:

“The next step I already know I can take is __.”

🤎 SUNDAY REMINDER

You are not behind because you do not know the whole plan.

You are learning to walk by faith.

One step.

One prayer.

One yes at a time.

God knows where He is taking you.

You just keep walking with Him. 🤎✨
